Singer/songwriter/producer MIA was put on the back burner for making what many may say was a ruthless and reckless comment because of the nature of the matter. Therefore the statement was blown out of full context and misquoted. While she did make the statement about "giving war a chance" in regards to the civil war going on in her home country of Sri Lanka, it was in an effort to get people involved in stopping the war.
